CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

GREAT NEWS!
Joey is back HOME!!!! after 6 nights away..he has come home and i am sooo relieved and happy!
I can't thank you all enough for all the prayers!! i know the prayers really helped! He actually STAYED on his meds while he was gone!!! He didnt end up in jail or the hospital!! He learned some hard life lessons while gone that i think will help him appreciate being here more and what we do for him to be more appreciated.
he has come home under OUR RULES. He is willing to have some respect for our house and our rules and i am so happy about that! ahhh!
i believe God had his hand in all of this! i believe that God protected joey and kept him safe!
Thank you all for all the prayers!
Please keep joey and my family in your prayers..we really need them..to continue following God and continued protection for Joey and his choices!

After counting Joeys meds i realize that he missed his meds one day while he was gone, (both of them). i dont know if it was a day in the beginning or the end of when he was gone, but missing a full dose of each med could definitely affect him for a week or more. Since he is still being medicated it should all turn out ok, but it is a bit disappointing to realize that he was responsible for his meds 6 days and missed one day! that concerns me for his future for when he really moves out someday. Please just keep him in your prayers.

O Heavenly Father, our sister Karen comes before You this day, seeking restoration, seeking strength and wisdom as she cares for the son that You have blessed her with. Lord, we give thanks this day, for we know that it is our prayers that You heard, we know that it was You hand that lead this child home again. Thank You O Lord, Thank You for bring Joey home. Let him see that it is his mother and his father's will not that he be harmed, not that he be without help, but that they seek his welfare when they place rules, when they give him the things to do that he doesn't want to do. Lord God, give to this young man peace and strength, bless him in all that he does, bless his mind, giving to him full restoration, full healing O Father, from this illness that invades his thoughts, that binds him. Release him from this affliction, giving to him from the Abundance of Your Grace, of Your Compassion.
Lord God, let our dear brother no longer worry, let anxiety and fear no longer fill him, but let him release all his troubles to You, placing at Your Feet all that comes up him. Lord God, bless this father, let him be at peace concerning his son, knowing that You are near, that You guide this child, and that You protect this child in all that he does.
In the Mighty name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen
