need prayers badly

Thanks so much for all the prayers everyone! i have definitely felt the prayers tonight. Both my husband and i are atleast at a place of peace and we have been able to put this in Gods hands and ask God to take care of Joey. I dont know how this will all play out but i trust that God has his hand on my son! I ask for further prayers for Gods guidance, Gods will in this situation, and continued peace for mike and I. I also ask for continued prayers that joey stay medicated no matter what happens. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! hugggs.

My 18 yr old son has Schizo-affective disorder. He is on depakote for the mania/depression, and he is on Abilify to keep away delusions/hallucinations. He has decided he doesnt want to have a curfew and doesnt want to have any rules and he MOVED OUT today! he has no money, no car, no job, but he moved in with a friend. He left my house with the clothes on his back and his two bottles of medicine. He told me he is going to look for a job and stay with his friend till he can get an apt. He is very clueless about reality right now. Did i mention he walked out of my house with his two bottles of MEDS!!

Please pray he takes his meds everyday while he is gone. Please pray nothing bad happens..that he doesnt end up in jail or back in the mental hospital. If he misses one day of his meds...bad things will happen. He becomes violent when off the meds. Please pray for the safety of my family! and please pray he doesnt lose his meds!

i just talked to joey! he is coming home to get the rest of his stuff. He refuses to leave the meds here and come home to take them daily like i suggested to him!! He says he will take them on his own! I am scared to death! Pray that God will give him a REMINDER daily to take his meds!! PLEASE!!

Hi Karen,

I can imagine your worry love as I work with clients like this, I know to you it probably seems like anything could happen to Joey. But although its hard I want you to look at something positive, he must have found somewhere to stay, and if hes returning home just for his meds etc it shows he is still taking them. People with this illness have bouts of this and honestly depekote isnt dangerous, I pray that his mind will settle, and you will recieve some peace that he will be fine. Amen

Thanks so much for all the prayers and i would appreciate continued prayer support! My husband and i both are feeling VERY at Peace and that God will take care of my son, since i won't be there to do it!! Joey came home and he seemed fine which means he DID take his meds all on his own yesterday. He packed a duffle bag with all his clothes and other belongings, he showered, we gave him $20 and he left. i dont know exactly when i will see him next...but thankfully he has to come here sometime in the next 8 days to pick up more of the abilify because the prescription will run out. He does have a cell phone so i can contact him when i need to! i made sure he had the phone charger with him. I don't know how this will all play out, but i am putting all my trust and faith in God right now!! Thanks everyone!
