CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Thanks so much....I should have explained better but I have feeling so out of it today.
No police were involved...this sort of thing is pretty much a job hazzard. I work with disabled adults in a group home. A few of my clients sometimes become physically aggressive. One of my clients became aggressive last night. The worst of it lasted for about 30 minutes...but it was over an hour before he calmed down completely and went back to sleep. Imagine a 4-year-old throwing a tantrum in a 26-year-old body.
Right now my head hurts and i feel dizzy and nauseous.

Not nice at all Byrne - even if it is a hazard of the job and the guy who did it is not really responsible .

I am feeling much better today. Thanks so much for your prayers. My husband made me get a hair cut today. He is so sweet.
