he is not a Christian, and never has been a believer. My influence on Aaron has been anything but Christlike, and I am not sure what to say to him. I know God is working in his heart. Please pray for aaron, if just for a few seconds--it could make all the difference in the world.
Thanks,
Tim

You know, I feel really uncomfortable when people e-mail me forwards about God and how he loves me and all. My take on faith is very personal...I think that you have a one-on-one relationship with God and how you believe is how you believe. You shouldn't ever let anyone tell you how to pray or when to pray or how often. That's just me, though. I'm sending you this e-mail because today, I had just one more indication that something is out there for those of you who haven't seen it yet.
Last night, I slept in my Mike's (my uncle) bed beside Mary. He had spent the night at the hospital with my mother and I had taken Mary and Robin to Grandmother's house to spend the night. As some of you know, my mother's other brother, Jerry, has been fighting cancer for the last few months. A few days ago, he slipped in the bathroom and bruised his head, which caused a lot of internal bleeding that couldn't be stopped. This morning, at about half-past four, I woke up and said "I love you, Jerry" to the wall I was facing. I turned over in bed, and there Mary lay, sleeping soundly. When I woke up this morning around 8, my mother was rushing us up out of bed to go to the hospital. She had spent the night with Jerry and Mike and Clara, Jerry's wife. Each of them also woke up around 4:30 this morning, and Mom headed in to see Jerry, who she had just seen in a dream just before waking. He told her to take care of Clara and said "I'll see you later." When Mom talked to the nurses on watch, they said that the readings on his monitors had all spiked and dropped right then.
Jerry left us early this morning, but he said goodbye to us all before he left. I am now more convinced than ever that there is another life beyond this one, and I just wanted to share that with all of you.
We love you, Jerry.
