  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

hi to all on this site, 5 weeks ago on november 18th , my wife of 37 years marriage passed away, after being take by cancer after only being ill for 6 weeks, the day before she died, we were told the cancer was terminal and she had maybe week or at best a few months to live, she had ablood clot which killed her almost instantley, we have two grown up daughters. the eldest joanne, gave birth to twins the day before my wife died, anyway enough of my history, i am feeling terrible and just need some kind of support from other people going through this yours hpefully delmec

Welcome delmec to Christian Forums. I am so sorry to hear about your wife's death. Since her death is so recent I am sure that you are still in shock and that is normal. I am glad that you have come here for some support.

My husband died about 4 1/2 years ago from cancer. It was very difficult for me, especially the first year. I know that you are grieving for her and having the holidays with her gone makes it even worse.

Delmec, so sorry about your loss. You are embarking on a road not new to the ones here. We've all experienced what you are now experiencing. You need to know that you are not alone, you are not forgotten and you WILL survive. It takes time and prayer. Just remember you are never alone. Our Lord and Savior is catching each tear that falls. He loves you and will comfort you. Take it one day at a time. Press On!
