With my wireless adapter it shuts off every two hours and I don't know what to do about it. I call the actual company and the told me to upgrade my firmware, and they said that it would help. I did that but it still shuts off.........Does anyone or can anyone help me out this problem?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Need help with Linksys Wireless Adapter

I can't speak for linksys because I would never buy their products because honestly they just aren't that good.....but it sounds like there is something set wrong in the settings of the router, maybe there is a problem with the lease time that is allowed for the connections, my d-link router has a 2 day license unless I change it, after 2 days it disconnects me unless I restart the computer.....if this router is new and this doesn't resolve the issue, return it and go and get a d-link router, you won't have problems with it like that.....

Cisco makes Linksys and they are they are fair higher in quality than D-link.
I work with Cisco systems equipiment all day long and linksys at home with out a problem.
