  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I believe the point was that there's no REASON to use the kodak program to send photos by email. If you use Kodak programs for other things right now and you're happy with it, don't change! However, to send photos by email is so simple ALREADY, there's no reason to use a badly written program to reproduce what's already in place.

Pull the pictures off your camera with the USB cable. Save them in a file somewhere that you will be able to find easily. I save mine to C:/photography but you can really put them anywhere you like. Then go into your email program (or online to your email) and create a new message. There will be a button called "add attachment" or "attachments" or something similar. Click it, and browse to the place you saved your pictures a moment ago. Once you've added the attachment, you might have to wait a few seconds for the picture to upload. You can always try sending it to yourself just to make sure the attachments are working.

I hope that helps!

I have a Kodak Easyshare DX3215 Zoom Digital Camera and mine came with the kodak software but after a week I decided it is not worth it. I use Photoshop Elements 2.0 to edit my pics and there is also a program with google that you can use with digital photos that seems to work well. As for sending pics through e-mail I agree with everything that Deamiter wrote.
