Hey Everyone, I am new here, but I am looking for some help. My name is Greg and I am trying to find some awesome adventures in the bible that you think could be turned into an amazing video game. I am a video game developer that will be creating my own company within the next year, and I think it is time for a video games that has a Christian perspective, but are also fun to play. There are a few games out there that do have a Christian theme, but I'm not looking for that. I can create 3D like games similar to some of the biggest games out there. I recently learned that many churches are using Halo 3, an M rated game that has shooting and violence, to lure kids to come to church. In between playing they read scriptures. I have recognized that something needs to be done about this, and I think that a game that has the game play similar to Grand Theft Auto IV, a game which will release next year that is expected to bring in half a billion dollars in its first week is going to grab the attention of not only teens, but all ages. The average "gamer" is almost 30 years old. I think that with a great storyline that relates to the bible, I can create a game that will not only inspire Christianity in the gaming community, but also will give Christians a game they have been waiting for. There are many things that are needed for a game like this, everything from artists to programmers to finances, but for right now I want to have a solid story. I am not looking for a game like patsy cake. I am looking for a game that is going to show things like they were. Such things as violence I believe can be used as a learning tool in this situation. If the game is going to reach out to the gaming community it needs to be on the same playing field as the games already out there. The Christian games right now are marketed for a more preschool level. I don't want this, I want a realistic game. If you have how to bring this out in the game I would greatly appreciate it, and in the event your idea is used we will definitely make sure your are blessed for helping. Thank you so much!
