I have been feeling a "nudge" from God for about a month now to get a custom bumper sticker made and keep getting the line "When you take your last breath, will Jesus welcome you or deny you?"

I have it all set up on the bumper sticker website, but want to put a Scripture at the end of the sentence that would best fit my saying. Which Bible verses could you guys recommend? Ones that came to my mind were where Jesus says know one comes to God but through Him? But I would like to use a really good and thought-provoking verse, they are just slipping my mind right now.

Lastly, is the deny you part too forceful? I don't want to turn people behind my car off, but I want to get my point across too.

I think Jesus. Don't leave earth without Him . Would suffice. Jesus does not actively deny anyone access into His presence. When someone dies in their sins. They are separated eternally from a hint of a glimmer of a beam of God's love and light reaching them. This is because they have chosen this with exceptions innocents , small children. God is righteous this is an attribute where he upholds his own law. He does not clear the guilty. He did not clear Jesus when He took my place. The righteous nature of God in punishing the guilty . Sin is the transgression of the Law, is a separating factor that Has not been dealt with by an unbelievers freewill in choosing not to accept right standing with God as a gift. Technically oil and water don't mix . A Holy and Righteous God don't mix with sin neither. Jesus is not actively standing at the door of Heaven denying entrance . He bid the soul during His or Her lifetime, through creation, the conscience, the Law of Moses, the gospel. His witness in creation His power the create and sustain His creation before the eyes of all men left them without excuse. He said that in Romans chapter 1 . Too make a Long story short. Let the Holy Spirit convince men . Jesus said, "
How much more will your Father in Heaven give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him. ? You can access the throne of grace and ask and receive for anyone anytime anywhere. That is a wonderful gift . If you abide, He will answer . Yes and Amen.
Both Parents 3 sisters and one brother . My entirely family , came to Christ through prayer, the last one being my little brother in 2009. Ask and you will receive the work of the Holy Spirit in peoples lives. When I was new in the Lord I wanted to fly a banner behind an Airplane across the Los Angeles basin with John 3:16. Seek the risen Jesus and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit receiving the wonderous new relationship He has for you . And avoid religion . You are called to relationship. A Vine Branch sort of thing. God Bless.

Why dont you instead try the Gospel?

Like saying:
"How would you live your life, if you knew ALL your sins were forgiven?"
2 Corinthians 5:19

or

"What does 'Neither do I condemn you'" from JESUS - mean to you?
John 8:11

You see, they (people in general) already feel beat up and kicked down, the devil does a good job with all that. They are steeped in sin and fear and torment on the inside - the outside can look like its got it all together, but that is the easy side to trick or pretend with.

So, give them what JESUS and Paul and John gave them - the Gospel.
Good News and we all can use that every day!

friend i think this is what it is to answer the call to evangelism.. but rather than a bumper sticker. why not hand out tracks that say pretty much the same thing.. tonite if you find your self on the other side of your last heartbeat.. will you go to Heaven.. atleast if you hand this to directly people, you have a moment of intimacy that cannot be attained thru a bumper sticker.. and then if any should ask for further discussion. you could take them down the roman road, or use some scripture verses to backup what you are intending in the tract that you handed them.... why be formal? and why not be as intimate as possible? after all we are talking about the most important information that anyone could possibly hear.. could you imagine where apple would be with there software and hardware, if they had done their advertising on the bumper of a car.. i wish you every success my friend.. you do have the enthusiasm.. in Christ Jesus..

What is the *exact* point you want to get across. In other words, the bottom line.

"When you take your last breath, will Jesus welcome you or deny you?" .... isn't a point, it's a question. It indirectly says something about you, and you are the one asking the question. Do you know the answer for every person who reads the sticker in other words ?

So if it's your sticker, and your point ... what is the "bottom line" of the point so to speak ? Is it "accept or die" so to speak ? "Are you immortal ?" "Heaven or hell ?" Raising questions about whether or not Jesus accepts or denies someone ... is more of a "threat" on His behalf, if you're implying Heaven/Hell. Or it's a meaningless question to those who don't care. It's more like asking them if they're invited to His party in that sense.

So what is the exact point you want to get across to a stranger ?
