I think the dreams are demonically influenced. Charles Stanley once said to practice this (from Jesus' 40 days in the wilderness experience)
Don't get too:
Hungry
Angry
Lonely
Tired
Tired is the one that I struggle with the most. I am a Christian, and was attracted to your post because I have had many "demonic" dreams. (You might search my previous posts). I actually came to this site because of a dream I had. Many times, when I have had little sleep, I will dream of being in my bedroom, and I can barely move. I am usually muted, and can barely speak, and I can feel the evil presence. In one of my last dreams, I was able to see a shadowy figure enter my room. These dreams seem very real. There is power in the name of Jesus. If you have not entered into a convenant with Him, then you might try using His name. (These things always stopped when I would say, "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus."). There is power in His name, but I don't even know if this is a good suggestion because in Acts 19, there is an account of a group who were rebuking evil spirits in Jesus' name, and using Paul's name, but the demons did not know who they were (but they were not in Christ), and the demons attacked them (read below). Of course, I think these guys were probably doing this for personal gain, and not because they was trying to help someone (or in your case, yourself).
13Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, "In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out." 14Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15(One day) the evil spirit answered them, "Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?" 16Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
17When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.
Because Paul had the Spirit of God living in him, the demons could do him no real harm (not jump on him as they did the Jewish guys). Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the world. The only real, safe, answer I can give you is to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. If you are interested, I can tell you God's plan for your life, and how He wants your life to be abundant here on earth. He has a great plan for you--plans to prosper you and not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and a future. Please PM if you have any questions on this and/or the dreams.
