  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I'm looking for a passage in the OT. I will describe what I know about it from what I can remember. I think the actual context refers to a battle or war. I can't remember if the text uses the term kings or angels who are involved in it. But anyway, it talks about either a king or angel who was delayed in getting somewhere due to unexpected opposition. (from what is assumed to be the powers of darkness)

I believe it's found in one of the major prophets. That's all I know right now.

Look at Dan.10:13, The prince of Persia had been able to withstand God's angel for 21 days. Since the struggle was difficult, an assistant came to the speaker's aid .... the evil angels had held the controlling position at the Persian court. now that they had been overcome by the angel who is speaking and by Michael, the place of influence at the Persian court was taken over by these good spirits.... my point is, this is a difficult passage to interpret ... former just my superficial opinion.
