  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I need some guidance, and some strength to carry out that route.

I'm at a crossroads.  I simply don't know what God wants me to do in my life.  Does he want me to be a missionary pilot, an air force pilot, or something else?

Either way I'm going to need strength to do it.  I need strength (in the mental and physical ways) if I go into the air force because I have to work out a lot to pass the physical test.

If I become a missionary pilot I'll need strength because that has lots of personal and spiritual barriers that I need to jump.

If I go to college and enter the ROTC program, I'm obligated to fly for the USAF for about 8 years.  If I decide not to do ROTC, but then want to go into the AF later, I'll have to go to OTS.  So I have until August to make a decision (hopefully much sooner though, because I need lots of time to prepare for ROTC).

Anyway, please pray that God guides me in what to do with my life, and gives me strength to carry it out.

Will be praying for you.  Just keep praying and when the time is right God will reveal to you what it is He wants you to do.  In the meantime, it would be a good idea for you to prepare as if you already knew you would be needing all that strength.  That way if it is God's will that you be doing something where you need a lot of physical strength, you will already be on the right track.  And of course build up some spiritual strength through daily prayer and Bible reading.

God bless you whatever it is He wants you to do.
