Need discernment.

Hi everyone.

I need prayers for discernment. As I have been spending the night on these boards, I've slowly come to the realization that I have a heart for a lot of the people on here, but especially those in their late teens to mid-to-late 20's. I'm beginning to wonder if I need to consider a young adult ministry? So, please pray for the Lord to show me whether this is from Him, or from my imagination.

Lord Jesus, I pray for Bartimeus, that you give him a word of discernment and encouragement and let him know if this is Your will for him. Lord, I ask that you speak in a way that is simple and direct that he may know the word is from you. Strengthen him and give him courage and understanding of your Word in his life.

Heavenly Father, thank you for all you are and all you have done. Lord I pray that you will make your will known to Bartimus as unmistakably your own. Lord, I pray that you will equip Bartimus to minister and serve in your kingdom for your glory. Last night, at a bible study I've started going to, as part of the study, we went into seperate rooms, and we talked to (and listened to) God, and asked Him what the next step is supposed to be in our lives. He made it clear it is some kind of youth/young adult (last year of high school-last year of college) ministry. Not sure of the specific ministry, yet, but I know what it involves. That is where He has put my heart.

Wow "B".... I did not know that you also needed prayer for the gift of discernement.....I lift my brother up to you oh mighty Lord, Father God....... And give him this gift that we all need in out daily lives........ it is a most vital one for we come accross so many people, and situations in our lives that we need to feel if these are real or not, true or false, good or not..... ect.........Please i pray that he goes where you want him to and where his heart and soul feel ...........i ask this of you Father ,

I just found out that, not only is their a webmaster position open at this youth center connected to my church, but some other positions that have potential as well. I think God has answered one of my big prayers, and I have a feeling that big things are coming down the pike.

Busy...but doing good. I'm now webmaster for 2 web sites, and getting the initial stuff done...planning, etc...is going to keep me busy...not to mention that the jobs will be ongoing for a long time...which is a very very good thing.
