Need Christians on this non-religious forum!

I wasn't sure what forum to put this in, so I thought this one was the closest to what I'm asking.

I don't know if I can post links yet, but www.deviantart.com is the place that needs 'uplifting'.

I really get the feeling over there that most people do not like Christianity, and I think they believe in all the wrong things. They will be a hard nut to crack because they seem to have some funny ideas about Christians.

i dont think its good to intrud onto deviant art. ive been on there and that is their world. intruding on it to tell them about something they hate is only going to annoy them more and hate us more.

I understand the reasoning behind your quest, but as a mod on a different forum, it's not cool to have people bombarding your site. These people are considered "trolls." Feel free to go on there and express your views, but I think calling up a bunch of people from another forum to esstentiall hijack their forum won't help, but will hinder, your cause.

Just my two cents, though.

Me and a whole bunch of people from my school are on that site... and I have the feeling I'm one of a very small number of Christians among that crowd. It sorta bites...

I definitely sensed an anti-Christian vibe there.

Cool art site, but I remember back when I was on the Rage Against The Machine forums for the exact same purpose. The results were not good. Talk about throwing your pearls before swine. In fact, I look back on it and while I learned a few things, I consider staying there a detriment to my spiritual health. Maybe all the Christians on that forum should get together on ourexpressions?

I agree that it's not the best idea to go there just to try and erase the negative view of Christians. You'll probably end up being labeled a "troll" just like Caelda said. I was on albinoblacksheep forums for a while (still am, but not as much), and quite frankly nobody cares what your opinions are. Just in the same way that many think Christians are close-minded, so is the rest of the world, they're just allowed to be close-minded more than we are.

Also, I think it's hard to help people out that you don't really know, in real life I mean. If they could see who you are in real life and could have a one on one discussion with you, maybe they'd relinquish their negative attitudes towards our religion, but I honestly don't think you'll be able to do much on an internet forum. But that's me, maybe I'm limiting you and God by saying that, I'm just speaking from experience. Hope I didn't offend.

my sister posts her art on there,. shes a christian, and she has very open views so i guess they probably accept her there more than they would me with my firmer beliefs!

Avery good friend of mine is on there as well, I went to highschool with her. She has changed a lot since she went to University, but you can't talk someone into believing. She used to, we used to talk about it all the time, now I'm not sure where she stands, I don't think she is either. Praying is important though.
