CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

No one can be sure what the Big Band looked like, or if it even gave off light. By animated do you mean put it into one of those video clip things? That is beyond my abiliity.

I don't anymore. It is hazzardous to my status on CF to post anything other than deadly serious, grim exchanges, tersely typed & bereft of any irony, humor, or tongue in cheekism.

Hey, Roman soldier, can ya clean up my German Shepherd's face? He isn't marked very well, but it was the only picture I could find tiny enough to fit the HI AVATAR's size requirements.
His face should be more golden brown, like a lovely pannycake, not all those smudgy blackish hairs on his forehead.
'course, maybe he's a coal miner.

wow, he's a horribly marked beast.
Lookat that skunk strip on his nose, can you just find me a better marked German Shepherd? Maybe put a crown on his head, for he is the king of dogs? Maybe a sceptor, but nothing too ostentatious, I don't want him to be too embarrassed to wield it.

What can you do?
Can you help me unload the salt for my water softener? The ceiling above the stairs is 20 feet above the steps, can you balance on a ladder on the stairs holding your bucket of paint & brush & repaint that for me?
