I'm not 100% sure but I think both you and ravi will be in heaven, but robbed of the rewards that might have been if not controlled/influenced by the spirit of lust.

Do you have an opinion on what rewards one, without the spirit of lust, would expect to see in heaven that others , with the spirit of lust, will be robbed of?

If you are really saved, God will force you to repent if necessary. It's not pleasant to fall under God's chastisement.

God ties you to Himself with a bungee cord.
sometimes when you fall the jerk back up is jarring and painful.

If God desires for you to do something, you will have no choice but to do it......whether the instruction is sent with "kindness" or a storm is sent that sends you into the sea to be swallowed by a fish and spit up, where you were told to go.....

If you desire to enter into spiritual worship.....you will get everything you ask for, whether it be good for you or not.....to whom much is given, much will be required....

it's corrective actions, but sometimes they really suck.
when I was in Corpsman A school in the Navy, everyone was sneaking alcohol into their barracks rooms.
I did it one time, nobody knew about it but me, the very next day... health and comfort inspection, where they tear apart your room looking for things like drugs, weapons, and alcohol.
I was the only one to get busted.

So why did I go to captain's mast and get one of the worst duty stations (Twentyninepalms, California) in the country, lose my pay for months and get blocked from advancing for like a year? While everyone else got away with it?
Because I was in Christ, and the Lord was chastening me for my lapse of judgement and self control, for falling into temptation to do what the world was doing.. but my buddies.. I pray that they come to the Lord or they'll find out they didn't get away with it afterall.

So God punished you worse than the sinner who committed the same crimes, because you chose to follow Him? And you hope that your buddies follow suit with you so that they can stop "getting away" with things and start getting punished too?

They already did the same sin, they weren't chastised for it.
Better to be chastised on earth for it than punished forever in Hell.

Just because they weren't chastised in the same way and time frame as you.....does not mean that they werent "chastised." God is not mocked, whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Whether a man is "good" or "bad," If he sows corn....they will both reap ears of corn.

Time to take more responsibility so that we can better navigate this thing called life.

If people do not reap the results of their sinning, God can be mocked.

i think spirits of lust or any spirit that controls our behavior robs us of the depth of relationship with God that we might have experienced otherwise. and that is completely what the enemy wants, because if we dont get to know God we have no idea of what we have allowed ourselves to be robbed of in this world and the next.
we take our relationship with God with us.
if it is shallow now in this life I suspect we will regret that we were not able to know Him more while we were here. eternity starts in this life I wonder if the depth of relationship we have with God here translates somewhat into the depth of relationship we will have with Him in eternity.

that's the thing though...even when God delivered me and it was very difficult it was still not forced upon me by God, it was with my permission and in response to His Love and incredible compassion.

Why some people make like its easy to get saved is beyond me.

You’re spot on. People do make out that it’s easy. Peter had to step out onto water, and then was rebuked for lacking faith when he sank and cried out ‘save me’.
Believers have to want ALL of Jesus, or else we perish. Letting go of control is easier said than done.

Btw. I was delivered from fornication, it became revolting to me. Never give up hope on His deliverance. I will be praying this for you
