Need a prayer

Around nine months ago my wife of almost ten years got a job at a local resort. Within five days she met someone and cam home and kicked the kids and me out of the house. As soon as we left she moved her new boyfriend in the house and I have been taking care of our kids every since this happen. I have two twin four year olds and one nine and one 6 year old.

My wife has always had a drug problem and we moved to CC Texas hoping that she would not touch drugs again. Well it did not work as we where only down there for two months before all this happened. Now one month later she illegally filed papers down there and said I appeared. I don’t know how she did this but she came and took the kids and hit me for $1300 a month child support. I went back down and got the kids and brought them back to grandmas where we where staying until I could get the money together to get us a home. When I picked them up they where dirty and starting talking how mom would leave them in the care for as long as an hour while it was 95 degrees outside. My oldest son was telling me about her and the boyfriend passing a cigarette that smelled funny. I immediately took them to child protective services so they could tell them what they told me.



After all of this we went to court on the following Monday and the judge ordered the kids to stay with me. Numerous other court hearings followed with me eventually getting custody of all four children and she ordered to pay child support. I have had to give up my main business that I had four ten years that supported the family so that I could take care of my kids as I do not believe in daycare plus I would not be able to afford four kids in daycare. I started a web hosting company that barely pays the bills but I am able to work from home so I can be with the kids.



After all of this the divorce cost me $15,000 that I know owe and my kids are safe and have a stable home to stay in. I did not want my kids to grow up in a drug atmosphere and be around her new boyfriend who is a very dangerous person and also does drugs. I fought hard to give our kids a good life but we are barely making it do to me not being able to work away from home. Mom has not paid any child support or even called the kids as we do not know where she is at all. This has affected my oldest son as he is acting out because all of this. I don’t know what to do because I have never been put in a position like this and I have never had to take care of four kids on my own. What I need is some prayers to give me the strength to carry on and that the kids and I will finally get to the point we do not have to worry if we can pay the rent or not the next month as this has been extremely hard and I have giving up everything to make sure the kids are taken care of first. I know I am doing what is best for our children but sometime I get lonely and not being able to do things on my own sometimes has an affect on me.

Dear Father, I come before you today to thank you for the strength and ability you have provide to rescue these beautiful children from an dunsafe environment. I know that is what you set before this father to do and I thank you that the courts and those involved saw the truth and that their father is willing to care for them. Lord, this father heart is breaking over this situation and concerned over providing for his family. Lord, we ask you for wisdom and guidance as your Wrod instructs us you will be pleased to give us. Lord, we ask you to help him to meet to what seems to our human eyes an impossible task. we thank you for the Grandma sho has opened her homw to help her family. Lord, we pray for health and safety and peace for this household. Strenght and wisdon and endurance for this father. Lord, we ask for blesings on his new business and yet, Lord we ask that you would provide free time for him to enjoy his children. Lord, he is also lonely I am sure, and I ask that you yourself would wrap your arms around him and help to heal his heart. Lord i ask for your provision for thes children as they grow to understand not only how much their father loves them as they ask questions about their Mom, but to give the father wisdom in responding to these questions, and that they will understand also how much you love them. I ask you to help the father know how to best deal with behaviors of acting out and that you, God would heal the children's hearts as well through you bottomless love fopr them. Lord, we would love to see this Mom brought to a realization of her dr4ug problems, that she would seek wellness and be able to return to her family!!!! But Lord, we understand that you give her free will. Lord, we ask that you do not give her comfort in her sin. Lord we free you to do whatever it takes to reach her for salvation and restoration. Lord we ask you for daily grace and help financially to meet the commitments and needs of this family, day to day and especially for the overwhelming looking bill of $15,000 for all the legal proceedings. We again praise you for your provision of safety for these kids and a safe home fopr them to live in. We trust you that you will continue to help this family and be at work in their lifes. Tahnk you LOrd!!!! In Jesus name we pray, Amen!!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure all people here feel for your situation and for your kids. This is such a good time to introduce them to Jesus. Let them meet Him. He can provide such comfort for them and guidance that will help them in ways we can't even imagine. He helped me when I was a kid.

Lord, answer singledad's prayers. Draw people to his business. Protect he and the kids from any stigmas attached to the mother's history; give them favor wherever they go. Bring people into their lives to support and encourage them. Father, please give singledad a glimpse of the hope for their futures, so he can endure the frustrations of the present. Bless him for the decisions he has made, for his heart for doing the right thing for his kids.

I will definitely pray for you, I'm so sorry you've had to go through all that. But I hope you know that you are a great dad and it's amazing that you've been able to sacrifice all that for your kids. They are so lucky to have you and they will all appreciate that someday, just maybe not today. My parents got divorced almost a year ago, and although it wasn't nearly as bad as your situation, it was still really hard for me, so I kind of have an idea of what your kids could be feeling like. It sounds like you're an amazing person and I'm sure God will take care of you and your family.

Hi there

Your kids are blessed to have such a caring father. I am the child of divorced parents. I lived with Mom, and it was very hard for her too. Many times she could not work because of illness, and we were in debt because of being cheated by an insurance man. Often all we had to eat were potatoes. When we didn't have those, a neighbor would know Mom was ill again, and would give her eggs or a chicken. I am not saying these things to get pity - it was a valuable learning experience that made me appreciate Mom more, and a lesson in humility and perseverance. I think your children will eventually also benefit from your struggles.

But they can be hard to go through, I know. I will pray for you and your children and your finances.

As an adult, I trusted in Christ as my sinbearer, and God has provided for us ever since. It hasn't always been easy, but there was always a Christian with a helping hand when we needed it. "He gives us all we need for life and godliness" II Peter 1:3
