I want to quickly say that I hope to somehow stay in touch with you. God put you on my heart and I have been praying for you brother.

Gideon is another brother that is top notch. Anything of his that you can read will be good.

I encourage you to stay, but I've left for times myself. This thing of internet forums is a totally uncontrolled situation. You can get torn down just as easily as built up. My time here has absolutely driven home to me the fact that although God may use it, it will never replace the local church and local gatherings of believers in fellowship and Bible study. That has always been God's method, and always will.

We are just helping to show why that is a fact.

Hi brother, as you pointed out to me, you had been trying to contact me as Gideon and I am Gideons300.

To God is Real, I too hope you stay. The church as a whole is in a tough spot right now, and in many instances, religion has displaced relationship. Yet the two here are intermixed as wheat and tares. What is important, I have found, is to locate those brothers and sisters who radiate Jesus himself, who speak often of Jesus, whose lives and posts are not cold doctrine but alive with the love of God. With these, absorb the love and wisdom they have to offer you for we all have much to learn from God and often it is through the lips of others.

THe others I would counsel you to search out are those broken, hungry, searching for answers, and to those, offer encouragement and words from the Lord as the spirit leads.

Yet sadly, there are many here who are quite content with their lives and simply do not understand that Christ came to indwell us, to live through us. They have lives off husks for so long, they have forgotten we are to be feasting in the victory Christ has wrought for us.

I would also agree with Bill's words of wisdom, to find a good Bible believing fellowship and immerse yourself in the fellowship. Church is to be community, not one hour of staring at the back of the next person's head. LOL That is not "assembling of ourselves together". I myself need to take these words to heart.

Christian fellowship is important, and it should be done in a church not on-line, i must agree. We all prove this point well, me being a prime example. Thank you brother for the wisdom. Praise our loving Jesus he is good to us. Thank you all for supporting me. It may sound pathetic, me "needing" attention like a child, but we are to be as a child, so i don't feel bad, I'm so happy to be like a child in this area. Jesus is very good to us. Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement.

My shield is intact and i declare war on lies, especially when they come from within myself. Satin is a liar. He fears us more than we fear his attacks i think. Praise Jesus for saving me and picking up this wounded soldier. Jesus is within me and satin cannot kill me, only wound me. I am healed and ready for battle again.

Sometimes a person just needs a friend. I came here looking for Jesus and I found Jesus here alright. To bad he's found in people who only care for themselves.

It's unfortunate those most of the Christians in this world seem to be carnal. Everyone ministers out of what they have. Most mean well, but often for lack of knowledge, they fail to appropriate the grace available for overcoming on a day to day basis. When we're not do'ers of the Word, we're not blessed in our deeds. We all find ourselves in a rut sometimes. We need Jesus Himself to come pull us out. We can also, like David encourage ourselves in the Word. After repenting, speak to yourself like you'd minister to someone else. Often your words of faith even to yourself cause a change in your perception. Resist the devil!

Minister to God. Torment the devil or he'll torment you. Start shouting. He hates it. Do everything you can to move away from the mindset of complaining and into acknowledging God. It's part of fearing God. The Son of Righteousness will arise with healing in His wings!

We minister from the garden that is our heart. Unfortunately, from our springs sometimes flows the filth of the enemy. One Christian will say one thing offensively and then another answers them in kind. It's a bad witness to the non Christians. A real Christian is one partaking of the divine nature that flows from the Head. It's not of yourself, otherwise you'd get the glory.

It's important that the things you say are scriptural on this forum. Everyone makes mistakes. Review the scriptures about "reproofs of instruction". Receive the godly ones as oil. Believe God that He'll speak to you through others on this list. I believe that God will use every available means to speak to His people. Ask God for wisdom so you don't listen to the counsel of the ungodly. Don't receive cutting remarks. Bless others when you perceive them. Provoke others to acts of love.

Have faith! Forgive others.

One of the best things you can do for yourself is to fellowship in a church with a strong anointing. It's the anointing that breaks the yoke of oppression.

My depression has been healed. Although i still suffer what a blessed and good suffering it is. PRAISE OUR LORD JESUS. I forgot about this thread.

I look at it now and see that God indeed was in control the whole time. This is his work. What an awesome God we serve.

No one is like Him, no not one. Miracles happen all the time, we just don't see them. God truly works in mysterious ways. All things work for the good of those that love God.

LOL with great Joy in my heart seeing that God uses even a lowly person as myself in his work.

ALL THINGS PEOPLE! ALL THINGS WORK FOR THE GOOD TO THOSE THAT LOVE GOD.

No one is good, no not one. God alone is Good. I love you sister, God has given me a heart of flesh, replacing that of stone. You all have been a blessing to me. I love you all very much, even though sometimes i don't know it or act like it. The old man has passed away, behold a new creation. Gods word is true. Praise our lord Jesus. Thank you sister. God uses our weaknesses to help others. We use them to hurt but God has a different plan. Praise our lord Jesus, he loves us all so much. A little illustration to show just how true that really is:

G-d compares Himself to a diamond. (Many other precious stones too, but)
when we're totally filled with His Spirit and awed by His glory, at our BEST moments of clarity and understanding we view ONE facet.

You can view that very same facet from almost an infinite number of angles and have as many different yet valid perceptions! Following my analogy, not one of us can "see" that one facet from any more than ONE angle.

So take ALL of our various perspectives, share them, add them all up, and - - -

it's still just ONE facet. Of the biggest, most precious, most dazzling, diamond EVER. Yeah, we need each other, and we need each other's perspectives, differences, joys, and yes, even each other's burdens. We are to be His Body, and since He has not yet returned we must conclude that ALL Saints (combined) to date do not yet represent Him fully enough!

Speaking of love. This is interesting.

I notice you use G-d instead of God. Why is this? It seems that maybe you're going on the law that says do not use the Lords name in vein when you do this. Is this why?

I respect the honor you show the Lord and don't wish to disrespect it. But if that is your reason, do you not accuse me of using His name in vein? If i speak His name with purpose as i do now, is this not speaking it in vein but with a purpose instead?

Is that love or judging me? Do i fail to love simply by asking?

Very interesting and i hope you will show me some love with a loving answer.

Please don't be offended my Brother! Never before have I written about our Lord so much, as since finding CF. It is easy for me to type so fast I forget, or grow contempt for, the consuming fire we can so easily spell as "God." My keyboard is pretty much worn off, so I'm typing blind. I don't know where unusual characters are so well, and that includes the hyphen. So typing out "G-d" slows me down, maybe several more keystrokes.

My hope is in that time, my first impulse will be over-ridden, I'll get out of HIS way, and maybe some of His Glorious Light might shine through, even through this unworthy servant. I just wish that were a foolproof method ... obviously I still haven't tamed either my tongue or my keyboard Ol' camel knees (James) had some weighty things to say about that!

But more specifically to your concern, I really don't have time to be concerned about what somebody else might be doing wrong. Keeping my own propensities for evil in check is a full time job!
