  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

No, Charlie, not if they are neccessary to insure the health of the mother and child. But since it is a surgical procedure, it carries the risks of all surgeries. Elected Cesareans are unneccessary, and are only done because the mother doesn't want to put herself through the work of childbirth. It also avoids other aesthetic byproducts of childbirth, which goes to show that she holds the aesthetic condition of her body in higher esteem than the potential risks to her own and her child's life.

The statue of the Virgin Mary with a baby Jesus in her arms stood in front of the Knoxville Diocese since September of 2003.

Add this to the list................................

Ah don't worry..this is just the begining. I assure you that this has everything to do with Bush winning the elections. Now everyone has an axe to grin against Christianity. Obviously since Bush was so outspoken with his "Christian" preaching, that is why I don't agree with dumb politicans using religion to further their political goals.

Parts of the Jesus were destroyed and thrown in through the front door. The violence quickly became the topic of the Sunday sermon.

"To wake up and find an image of Jesus broken, it's a reminder I think our world is still broken and needs a lot of healing," says Johnston.

How I agree with the priest!

We had a naitivity secne in at work, but one of the girls ripped it down and took it out back and said that 'As an Atheist, I am passionatly opposed to Bulls***.' We had another one out the front of the shopping centre, but it got vandalised today - someone spraypainted '*insert profanity of the F-Word variety here* Homophobes' and 'Jesus was Gay' as well as doing all raindbow gay praide sumbols on it.

So sad :(

Oh and my British friend Elle is obessed with the Beckhams. I have been to the UK and was sick of them 3 hours after arriving.

Does it matter how the child is born, as long as they are brought into the World and Blessed by God?
It matters if she needlessly endangered herself and her child by having an elective (IOW...NOT medically neccessary) surgical delivery only to spare her vanity. No exhausting, sweaty, painfilled hours of labor. No broken capillaries or hemmoroids from pushing. No tearing or episiotomy to stitch or scar. No stretching of the birth canal. I suppose things like that were more important to her.

If you are asking if it somehow 'lessens' the child itself, then no! Absolutely not!

Peace be with you!

· Over a dozen statues were stolen from a nativity scene in Pasco County, Florida, and three of the inflatable snowmen were slashed.
