I've always wondered if somehow Christ reached many different tribes and cultures all over the world. Like I heard how these missionaries went to a remote tribe no man has ever seen before and talked to them about Christ and they told him they knew who Christ was.
People say, "well what about those tribes, are they going to hell because they've never read a bible before?"....do you really think God isn't capable of reaching them or appearing to them in ways you've never thought of?
Interesting how all these quotes match a lot of the biblical verses
Hi Saucy,
Yes, at least some of modern day "Christianity", has been contaminated by an earthly minded elitist spirit, which presumes "it" and only "it" is the "right" and "acceptable religion".
Jesus was and is, so much more than a historical man. He Is The Divine Nature Personified. He openly demonstrated and declared God's Character and Attributes.
Anyone who claims to believe in Jesus, the historical man, but does not subscribe to believing in what He demonstrated and declared is missing the main portion of His Testimony.
And His Spirit is omnipresent throughout time and space; wherefore, any who believe in Christ's Attributes - and through faith in those attributes, do allow them to shape and form their individuality, he/she is a true follower of Jesus, whether they are/were aware of the historical man, or not.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it suffices us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet has thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how says thou then, Show us the Father? <-----> John 14:8+9
Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: but he that does evil has not seen God. <-----> 3rd John 1:11
This is not to say Christ's mission on earth as a man was not necessary...indeed it was, for He had to atone for the sins of the world, otherwise even those who by grace became "good men and women" could not go uncondemned, for any past sin, (and all have sinned), could serve to condemn us. Plus His earthly ministry mightily confirmed much which had previously been somewhat of a mystery to many. And much, much more... yet the saving knowledge of Him, is far deeper/much more intimate than "knowing him" as a historic/literary figure.
Indeed, many of the so called "savages", were more "Christ-like", than their so called "Christian conquistadors" !
