CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lol, were I an athiest I would say, "And people really believe there is an entity/puppet master controlling the universe?" As I'm not I suspect I shall just say, it is a matter of faith. Besides, it's not to hard to swallow, in the Illuminatus trilogy, there is a pretty good line, "Wars are bad, everyone agrees, so why do wars keep happening?".

An Ex-Mason for Jesus
After reading through this thread, I was a bit surprized that no one mentioned anything about the Masonic Order being part of the movie's storyline. Some actual Masonic facts that were mentioned in the movie where:
1. Benjamin Franklin was a Freemason.
2. There are many Masonic symbols on US Currency.
3. The Knights Templars are part of a branch of Freemasonry called the York Rite.
4. At least nine of the signers of our US Constitution were Freemasons.
Of course, the idea of a long, lost Treasure hidden by Masons is just good old Hollywood fiction. However, if you want to learn more about the Masonic Order, please click on the following link:
