"Hmmm maybe i will... You know, now that i think about it... there might be a spy in the village... because if they know who i am, who Rei is, our friendship, the medallion... there'd have to be a spy in the village!" he realized.

"A...a spy?" Bijin looked confused.

 

[Quantum X]

"For them to know all of that information there must be a spy in the village!" he was putting it together now.

 

[cyberwing]

"Maybe the first thing to do is check out that medallion."

 

[Quantum X]

"How?" he asked. He finally decided to ask, "May i come in?"

 

[cyberwing]

Bijin blushed and opened the door. "I'm sorry Shoshin... I wasn't thinking..." Bijin closed the door and turned to see what Shoshin had on his mind. "We could ask Shikamaru... I think I saw him on the practice field earlier..."

 

[Quantum X]

"Hmmm that's a good idea." he brought out the medallion. He touched the medallion with two fingers and it turned black instead of it's usual gold color. "What the-?"

"He could tell us which of the jounin to ask..." Bijin looked at the medallion and couldn't believe it turned black. "What happened??" She looked alarmed.

 

[Quantum X]

"I don't know!" the medallion struck Shoshin in the chest and he fell backwards. I didn't hurt but it stunned him. He got up and explained what had happened to her. "So it didn't hurt me but... what is tis thing? Let's go see Shikamaru!"

 

[cyberwing]

Bijin looked at the medallion with wariness. "Come on let's go see if we can find Nara Shikamaru. He will know who to ask." Bijin was both excited and fearful to go to Shikamaru. Shoshin needed to know though.

Bijin blushed but bit her lip and stepped into Shikamaru's sight waiting for his acknowledgement.
"Nara Shikamaru may we see you a moment?" He finished what he was doing and came to stand before them one eyebrow cocked in curiosity.
"Shoshin and Rei were attacked and the men wanted this. How do we find out what it is? Who should we ask?" Bijin finally asked trying to concentrate on the problem.
"Attacked? May I see it?" Shikamaru asked Shoshin.

Shoshin put the medallion in Shikamaru's hands. "It turned Black and then struck me just now..." he said.

Shikamaru raised an eyebrow again and studied the medallion. "I think this should be taken to Tsunade-sama. She will have the resources to find out about it."

Bijin looked at Shikamaru and nodded. "I knew you would know what to do." Shikamaru turned to look at her and Bijin looked down at the ground, fearing to look at him.

"W...When do you think we might get to see Tsunade-sama?" Bijin asked.

"Come on, let's go now." Shikamaru led the way toward the Hokage's Office.

Bijin followed Shikamaru and Shoshin.

Although Bijin was quick to learn the healing techniques she still did not like fighting. The Hokage sent all of her squad on a mission to the rice country, minus Bijin. It had turned into a blessing for she had been needed here on a couple of occasions. She liked being a medical ninja.
Bijin noticed a couple of strange ninja she had never seen before in the Hokage's Building. She walked past wondering what was up. She could feel something in the very air around the village.

Shoshin saw Rei with bandages walking in the street. He then saw that her "comrades" got in front of her and stopped her from going anywhere. One of them went so far as to punch Rei! Shoshin was enraged. "I'll be right back! I have something to take care of!" he ran as fast as he could towards Rei.

One of them kicked dirt in Rei's face when Shoshin ran to her side. "What is wrong with you?!? She just got out of the hospital!" Shoshin was very angry.

"Who cares?" said the female. The male made some hand signs and got ready to use a jutsu. Shoshin got up and got ready. The male used clone jutsu and the female threw a metal bar at Rei. Shoshin grabbed the metal bar and with it destroyed the clones. "Jyurken! Two strikes! Four strikes! Eight strikes! Sixteen strikes! Thirtytwo strikes! Sixtyfour strikes!"

Shoshin hit the female so many times she fell over and fainted. Shoshin realized he'd fell for genjutsu! He quickly released himself from it with a jutsu Kakashi had taught him during they're second mission with Genma. He punched the male in the face so hard it almost broke his nose. Shoshin punched him again and he too fainted.

Shoshin sat down next to Rei breathing hard. "You okay Rei?" he asked her. She nodded and asked, "What happened when i was captured yesterday?!?"

Soshin spent the next few minutes telling Rei everything, even about the medallion. "What happened with you?" he asked her.

"...I heard a knock on the door and thought it was you coming for your daily visit, but it wasn''t. It was a ninja and he attacked me. We fought for a few minutes and he cut me numerous times with knives during that time. He then knocked me out and then what you siad happened." she said. "Obviously Gnema and Raidou saw you were being kinnapped and were wounded." he said.


"come see TsunadeCome with us! You shouldn't be walking on your own when you've just been released from the hospital." he helped her up and they walked back to where Shikamaru and Binjin were waiting.

Bijin had run up to Shoshin and then knelt by Rei. Shikamaru saw the illusion but also saw another hidden ninja and pursued that one. Bijin held her hands over Rei and let the healing flow.
"Rei, you need to rest. No missions, no anything for you for a while. Let's put you up at my apartment for a while. They won't know to look for you there."

 

[Quantum X]

"No... Not now... I need to find out what that medallion is... By the way thank you for helping me..." Rei said. Shoshin was not quick enough to follow Shikamaru. He felt something... something evil. A kunai knife shot past Shoshin just missed Binjin's shoulder. Shoshin saw that the Rei's teammates were gone!

He tried to see where the blow had come from but couldn't, even with his Byakugan. "We need to hurry to safety! He looked at Rei and Realized the kunai knife was not normal. Rei could not move her legs!
A shuriken shot past him and cut off some of Binin's hair.
Shoshin had no choice, he picked Rei u and said, "RUN BINJIN RUN!"

Bijin felt terror seize her heart and she jumped up as a shuriken zipped past her. She heard Shoshin yell then she heard Shikamaru yell. She darted into the alleyway ahead of her and came up face to face with a man wearing a sound village protector, who grabbed her and held a cloth to her mouth and nose. Bijin knew it must be something to knock her out so she pretended to let it. She made her body go limp in his arms. The ruse worked. He threw her over his shoulder and started to run. At the right moment she grabbed onto the side of a building and kicked with her legs effectively escaping him. She rolled out of the fall and ran the opposite direction. Suddenly someone grabbed her and she started to yell but he put his hand over her mouth. She didn’t recognize this ninja.
