In the english dub... he keeps saying "Believe it!".... are they trying to get him to have a catch phrase like Yabba Dabba Doo?

Before long you'll see kids running around doing sign language shouting, "I'm doing a jutsu, believe it! Now let's eat some Ramen!"

....and this wasn't expected? This happens with every anime released in North America

okay, now that I've watched it a few more times I have to agree that the "believe it" is friggin anoying! I would actually enjoy the dub if it didn't have the friggin anoying "believe it"

I watched tonight's episode and it was the first time I've heard Kakashi's dubbed voice, as well as Sakura's. Kakashi sounds nothing at all like he should and Sakura sounds too adult like, not like a teenager.

Meh... hopefully they will figure out how pathetic it sounds and cut it out >.O

And Kakashi... yeah.. he sounds like a weak wimp in the previous episode...
I still can't wait to hear their battle voices in fights though Screams always seem to be better than the talking parts... possibly why I like rock music so much o0

When he's talking normally, Sasuke sounds kind of boring, I guess because he's supposed to be a serious character so the English speaking actor talks that way on purpose. I haven't heard him talk in his "battle voice" yet though.

Well I heard him doing that fire jutsu he does... he starts off in a low voice and it gets higher... I liked the japanese better, where it was all serious and echoed...

Honestly he sounds like a bad soap opera, "And I'm going to.... destroy... a certain... someone...."

But once he actually gets into the scene and stops being all like the voice from Hero Yui from Gundam Wing, it sounds better.... believe it!
