The anime only people need to be aware that there have been periods without manga. The month long wait after the Kakashi Gaiden storyline for example as well as a week here & a week there.
The storyline isn't really caught up if you think about it, no more than it has been at other times in the anime but I would perfer to see a bit of filler as opposed to no episodes at all. Personally I can't wait to see how they handle the transition into the Kakashi Gaiden storyline and then back into the "normal" storyline.

you can get the headbands from stores in america this fall when the show debutes but you can get them from ebay probably

You think they will sell them in stores when it airs? I hope they have a lot of stuff. It's a great series. I'm mad that there aren 't more of the magna out yet, do you know when the new one does?

There's a store in my town that sells naruto headbands and stuff. I went there today and bought a naruto wallet. it has the three main characters + kakashi. it has lotsa pockets too!

So everyone is training real hard now. I thought Asuma and what's her name were stronger than that. Unless those hungry fat brothers are THAT strong?? I doubt it since Naruto is going to teach the entire prison a lesson probably.

i am in the same boat as u are my friend... when they showed shikamaru setting the sand shinobi's back to their country, wen sakura started training under tsunade... i thought.. man... it's beginning... it's starting... then they had to put this filler ep of Mizuki...and take note.. the latest episode of Naruto... Naruto didn't do much.. it was all staring, talking and laughing boastfully by Mizuki... he's one weird guy!!! he's like bishified LOL!!! i gues we can have a good laugh here and there for awhile. What I do when I get ****ed off @ Naruto filler episodes..well i go and open my Bleach ep. files.. LOL... well maybe it'll get better SOON...i hope!lol...i've given up on the filler episodes...not watching naruto until it goes back to what was in the manga

haha, yeah, i'm just watching bleach now too...such a great series and naruto...i'm not even watching it anymore, haven't been since 2 or 3 episodes/weeks ago...

Well it's either filler or the show goes off air until the manga makes some distance from the anime. This was the problem with Inuyasha. The anime caught up to the manga so instead of filler or going off air, there were just a lot of flash backs. This slowed down the pace of the story incredibly and they lost a lot of fans.
I don't mind the filler though. It adds in details the manga mentions in passing.

true say... i agree with that.. just that the filler with Sasame chan was a bit more reasonable... it actually makes sense, while the story as of the moment with Mizuki is just about Mizuki wanting power and wanting to get it from Orochimaru and he wants to get rid of Naruto at the same time... I mean seriously now. I like how before the filler eps of Mizuki and stuff... they already inserted different parts of the manga in it... so i think sooner or later... Kakashi's story is gonna end up coming and it'll be great... just patience!
