I thought Sho Pro or Viz was doing it? Nya. Anyway, they left in sexy no jutsu and most blood. ^^; I think that they cut out the nosebleed because it's on American TV and a nosebleed dosen't really ....make sense....

Well about the part with Sho Pro or Viz dubbing it, yes, but I was responding to someone who said that it was toonami's fault that there is more editing...

Also... yeah, you're right about the Un-cut DVD's... I guess I'm just bummed to see one of my favorite anime butchered up so..

I used to work in a video store and it was scary how often parents would see that it was animated and would rent it for their kids. Even with me explaining that *whatever anime they picked up* wasn't for kids, I would still get about 75% of the people who rented anime returning to the store upset because they thought animated=for kids and showed something innapropriate to their kids. All the "uncut" and "not for kids" stickers in the world wouldn't protect those parents from renting "older themed" anime for their young children.

Yeah. I'm not saying it'll prevent it, I'm just saying it's their own stupid fault for not paying attention. There's gonna be uncut on the cover, so they won't have any defense. They'll be the ones that come off as stupid and irresponsible, so I bet 5 bucks no one'll say boo about it. It's those dumb parents who think they can just let cartoons babysit their kids that are the ones who restrict the artisitc community and put up the censors.

Your right that it's the parents fault but do you think any of them actually said "oh you're right it's my fault for not paying attention"? No, they were the ones that freaked out at the people who ran the video store, sent letters to head office and went on a tirade (well not all of them but a couple were like that). I'm not saying it's right, but it's what I've experienced.

A bit earlier in this thread during the latest episode, they showed Shino's mouth and I previously thought it was the first time we've ever seen his mouth, but Taboo posted a pic showing otherwise, a different one from the one show here at the Hokage's funeral. After she posted the first pic I was so impressed that she could pick out that picture, seemingly from memory. So this 2nd picture is just icing on the cake and quite funny too.

I thought it was funny, but that just shows that many people don't pay attention to the warnings and when they find it is bad... like Gerbil said... they blaim the video store.

It might be, I read magna more then I watch anime. You know when someone went " do you watch AS" I was sitting there for the longest time trying to figure out what AS was...but don't worry I figured it out haha.

But you know, I think that parents, even though they care about their kids sake, they just go overboard. Like for instance. Taking "one nation under god" out of the pledge. *well the dad was complaining about it* IDK it just fustrates me how ignorant people are.

But I remember such a time once when I was renting a movie... it was Tenchi Muyo: The Daughter of Darkness...

Now... Toonami made it to be like a kids show, it was funny, action packed, it was a great anime, but when I went to go rent the movie, it had sex scenes and nudity in it o0
Why? Because that's how the anime was intended to be, for adults. And since they made it out to be a kids show on tv, that's what I expected it to be when I went to rent the movie...
