Agreed... it's funny though... they cencor a bit of blood that anyone sees even as a child... but oh no, they just have to keep in the partial nudity .....

I couldn't really agree with any of the voices except for maybe the Hokage and Konohamaru (being a kid and all...).
And the names of stuff.... bleghhhh..

But like everyone has said, noticed, and known... it is now an American kids show...
I'm sticking with the Subbed version.

I thought the anime debut of Naturo was not that bad compare to what I thought. I figure they might change alot of names, show no blood at all, and stuff like that, but I think the edit was not that bad compare to other animes edit for kids to watch.

Meh... the blood made the sexy-jutsu funny... it's not as funny when they just jump backwards and scream...

Also, I may have just missed it, but did they fail to call that Demon fox a demon and just call it a monster?

Considering how much worse it could have been, I'm fairly happy with how it turned out. I give it an 8.

The only thing that really ruins it for me is how they all pronounce "Naruto". If it weren't for that, it'd be okay, all other changes considered.

As far as how things were pronounced... I was let down...

Now yes I know it's probably proper english... but some things should just be left in Japanese pronunctiation... like how he says, "Geneen", I would have called it "Gen-in".

And Leaf village should have stayed Konoha, and Uchiha should have stayed, Uchiha... instead of "Ucheeha"....

Ew... and I heard Kakashi's voice in a sample... ewwww

Meh.. I should stop rambling, it's plain and clear to see that I hate the dubbed version, I should just leave it at that ><

Tell me about it, I had no idea how you actually pronounced it, but I never said it like that and I'm glad too haha. But then I call it Maaaagnas instead of Main-ga *does that make sense?*

Well us poor Canadians finally got to see the dub (and only the first episode) and frankly I don't think they did that bad of a job. As far as dubs go, it wasn't that bad though I don't understand why they removed the blood..... that just seems silly to me.

I have read that the blood will be not censored in the DVD release.

Eh, the dub is ownage. o___o I mean compared this to One piece and you'll see that we're very very lucky as naruto fans.

And they're saying the names correctly, people just aren't used to hearing them in english.

And eh, It's not StudioPolis who's editing out the blood and the kiss scene.- It's Toonami, and they left in the reference that we know they did, so nothing is really lost there.

Anyway, I love the dub, can't wait intil more eps. >

Well if it's toonami doing it, then I'm confused as far as how Toonami works...

I mean.. it's thanks to them that funimation's Dragonball Z was less edited as far as blood (and after their poor dubbing job on the first episodes was turned away from being a kids show)... and remember Sailor Moon had tons of kissing in it, and that was obviously (In America) a little girl's program. (In japan it was nowhere near a kids show...)

But here we have Naruto, has the same elements as DBZ and Sailor Moon (Except for nudity).... and yeah I understand that they're making a kids show... but man, when kids start buying the DVD's parents may get a tad ticked...

Meh.. sorry, I just don't see toonami being such "cencor happy" people... they are the one's who fought for less editing a couple years back after all....

Then it's their own stupid fault for letting kids buy the uncut dvds. Seriously, it's like... they wouldn't let kids buy violent/provacative movies, so I think that a DVD with 'Uncut!' plastered all over the cover would give them some sort of warning...

I thought Sho Pro or Viz was doing it? Nya. Anyway, they left in sexy no jutsu and most blood. ^^; I think that they cut out the nosebleed because it's on American TV and a nosebleed dosen't really ....make sense....
