Hmm, well I could make it real spoilery and tell you what's going to happen since I've read the manga, but I'm not evil. Lets just say that there is a climatic showdown with Gaara coming up (Yes, you couldn't anticipate that!)

I'm watching it as I'm writing this.

I love Naruto. The show moreso than the character, but I am slowly starting to recognise him and understand him more.

Yup. I do want to see some of the fights in Anime form badly though. Gaara's fight (apparently who the fight is with is a spoiler according to another board) should just plain be awesome. And looking down the road the next Hokage, wow. I just want to see her fights animated.

The upcoming parts with Gaara is my favorite part so far in the manga. I have been happy with the transition of fights from the manga to the anime so far but I do have to agree with you that the best is yet to come.

oh heck ya. i just read the manga up to chapter 200 and sometin the battle with gaara has to be one of teh most AWESOME things in the manga i wish i could watch the anime...oh! i gots me an idea! does anyone know where you can download the anime w/ subtitles? hopefully tats not illegal. lol
