Well I like to watch good movies, but I rarely wait desperately for a release. So that's why I said "even I". Also, I like kids' movies.

I cannot wait to see the movie. I first read the Chronicles of Narnia as an adult and loved them so much I have reread them several times. I can't wait.

Here's the little review I wrote for facebook's movie application:

Somehow Prince Caspian manages to deviate even further from the books than The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe does. Unlike LWW, this ends up working a little bit in Caspian's favor. The pacing of the book is absolutely droll-- there is a reason it is my least favorite book in the series. The movie adds so, so much... changes just a ridiculous amount. Yet, honestly, the changes improved the pacing of the book, adds more excitement, and keeps up a level of suspense for those of us who have read the book. And yet, at the same time, flaws abound. The side characters (Beaver, Trumpkin, and the tudor) are all undeveloped and flat... and in the case of Trumpkin just wrong, who (in the book) despite being for old Narnia didn't believe in the past tales of Aslan and such. The actor who played Caspian was way too old... that age could have flown for The Dawn Treader, but the whole reason Caspian wasn't King was because of his young age. The Caspian in the movie looks quite old enough to rule capably... so Miraz would not have been an issue. This could have been forgiven if the guy who played Caspian had done a fantastic job. But, alas, he was pretty atrocious. Thankfully, the highlight from LWW was Lucy and, once again, she delivers a captivating performance. The other siblings are neither great nor horrid (Edmund did a fine job, but Peter was still irksome and Susan... well, her issues were more script related... I mean, that kiss? C'mon now...) I would be interested to hear from people who haven't read the book but seen the movie to see what they thought. Seemed like it could have been confusing, but I don't know. Hard to say. Anyway, it does little to restore my faith in the Hollywood versions of these movies... although it is more tolerable than LWW.

Did anyone ever see the old BBC version of Prince Caspian?

Here's a bit of trivia:
(without looking it up somewhere) Who has a role in both films? This person actually plays two different roles in each of the films...

I've never seen the BBC version, but I know the answer (and I didn't look it up )

Oh, I didn't know that! lol Had fun learning. Liked the movie, but I've read the book, so can't really answer the way blackandy wanted....though, with the changes, not sure if I was fond of them all myself. Yet, if a couple of other things weren't the way they were, I would have been fine with 'em....yes, some of the side characters weren't as developed, and that kiss was a bit "out of place", but that wasn't my main issus with it. Susan and Peter basically had different issues verses the book, and that battle in the castle wasn't anywhere in the book, but it could have worked better...*sighs* I wasn't asked, so I'll just deal with my opinions....

Didn't the writers incorporate Prince Caspian and voyage of the dawn treader into this film.
I'm sure I read it somewhere.
I haven't seen the film as it doesn't come out until June over here.
