Start by saying I have permission to put this thread here even being a seeker.
My Nanny (dad's mom) passed away 2-16-12. I never got to say good-bye. You see she died while I was off at school (I come home most weekends.) on a Thursday night and dad waited till Friday to tell me because he did not want me to get upset at school. I mean there was nothing anyone could do about it so what was the point?
She had 4 children 6 grandchildren one step grandchild and one one great-grandchild.
worked from the time she was 14 or 16 until 65 at a textile plant.
I miss you nanny.
