That's a very pretty name.

I was leaning towards Lillian Violet (Lily for short) but I have changed my mind because it doesn't go with our surname.

I don't know yet if I am having a boy or a girl.

Boys: Caleb, Isaac, Noah

Girls: Anneliese, Abigail, and Catherine.

These will probably change though, because the only one that has met husbands approval is Caleb.

I love Caleb.

My name is Catherine. I have to say that it has been a great name to have. Very classy and professional. But also very steeped in religious history. And the meaning is a beautiful one for your daughter (if it's a girl!!) to take on: Purity. It's such a feminine name. I have always been thankful that my parents named me something so nice.

My name is Kathryn (and my middle name is Marie too), and I agree it is a good name. I didn't like it much when I was a kid, but now that I am older, I really appreciate it, and I also like the meaning. :)

BTW, we were considering Jackson too with our first pregnancy, but it seems to be becoming so popular. I am kinda bummed. It is such a great name, but I don't like the idea of my kid having the same name as his classmates. I always had at least one Katie in my classes growing up, and it made me feel less unique.

What do you all think about the name Grayson? That name has been on my mind today. I think I really like it, but I don't know if it sounds too stuffy.

That name has been on my mind, too! Personally, I don't think I could convince DH to name one of our kids Grayson (also not sure it would go well with our last name). But, I do like the name.

My dh usually like those kinds of names. He's big on the English sounding ones. Unfortunately, I think Grayson is zooming toward popularity. I just looked it up. In the 70's it wasn't even in the top 1000. In the 90's, it was number 500, In 2003 it was 298. It's so hard to predict what trends will do. 298 is fine, but if it keeps going up, it will be in the double digits in a few years. And that's not counting the kids with the "e" spelling. Maybe I am too hung up on how many babies are born with the same name. At least if the first one is a girl, there won't be too much to deliberate about, since we will probably name her after my grandma.

Geesh, I don't even know if I am pregnant right now.....I need to stay out of this forum. I'm going to have all my children's names picked out before I birth one of them!
