Names?! please help!

Hey guys,

I am part of a small group of people ministering to the alternative cultures (pagan/wiccan communities) in australia. The thing is we need a name for our group.... but its hard not to be "cheesy". We want something that has earthy and natural tones, We are all very environmentaly and human rights concious etc and this should be reflected in our name...

I really dont have any ideas about a name, but I could use some help on how to get my best friend to understand what she is doing. She just decided she is wiccan and is now all into that. I am very much a Christian and she is making it hard for me to make my daughter understand that this is not acceptable with God. I dont want to lose the friendship as she has been my dearest friend for over 20 years but I dont want her filling my daughters head with this either. Any suggestions on how to handle this situation?

fairy--just tell her you do not want her to discuss her beleifs around your daughter. if she is your friend she will respect your wishes. If not your daughter is more important then your friendship. I would be very careful about being friends with this person anyway. It mioght confuse your daughter.

a lot of non-Chrisain religions use a tree of life symbol. would this confuse those they are trying to reach ?

I like salt of the earth (cool name!) but it could also be like Light of the World or Followers or something like that, I don't know...rambling ::shrugs::

If it's for women, it could be Women of Virtue. When I was co-heading a group for gang girls, our name was Nissi Girls (for Jehovah Nissi) Rohi means He is our shepherd, while Shamah means he is there. Rohi's Lambs? Lions & Lambs, Tree of Life, Living Water, Paths of Righteousness, Earthen Vessels, The Potter's Wheel. That's all I can think of for now... maybe these will help?
