• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I still maintain that everyone is as strange as us, we're just the only ones brave enough to admit it

He calls me "Beautiful" or "Booful"... he also likes to call me "Babies" and "Honies" and "Super Babies".

I call him "Babies", too... I call him by his name a lot because I read somewhere that men/women like to hear their name called by their SOs.

My man and I always call each other Baby. It's just a common one. And I still love it :)
Sweetie, honey, love... he called me hunnybear yesterday (why did it make me melt? who knows) and i called him "honey bunches of oats" while i was talking to him on the phone in the (you guessed it!) cereal aisle. That just stuck out of goofyness.
I'm a huge fan of nicknames. I applaud anyone who can come up with unique ones :)

My SO likes to call me his china doll -- it stems from an incident where he was nervouse about picking me up, I told him I didn't break, and he begged to differ ;) He also calls me his little lioness (needless to say, I have a temper). We call eachother the typical hunny, sweetheart, baby names that just make my father roll his eyes at us ^_^ On our first weekend really hanging out we found we both loved snickerdoodle cookies... so snickerdoodle became a common exchange too -- but that name goes to the baby chinchilla now.. our first pet! **yes yes... well aware we're quite sappy at times **

Early in our relationship, my sweetie told me that his mom always called him "Sammy John". She died 8 years ago, and so I started calling him that. He just loves it. I also call him "Farmer Boy", "Babe" and "my Sweet Guy". To him I am "Miss Purdy".
That is awesome that he enjoys you carrying on the name his mother had for him! Thanks for sharing!

we don't have any pet names yet....

but once I did call him "mon ami." He blushed and smiled (I think because he confused that with mon amor). I might call him that when we get more confortable with those things in our relationship.
how long have you two been together?
