CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I call him eskimo 
and I'm his eskimo too. We started off as good friends and so our first kiss together made us nervous and we ending up rubbing noses at one point. I said it was like how eskimos say hello (don't know if that's true or not but that's what my dad told me when I was little lol). The name stuck from then on.

He will always be 'My B' - I've always referred to him as that - he has a few nicknames that others have given him, but My B is a special one for us
I'm his Saschka - noone else calls me that, and noone except us knew about it til now. I love it
Of course we also say sweetheart, darling, sweetheart, beautiful, etc etc...

yeah we say all the usual ones but he calls me "Anna Banana" or "Annie Bananie" and there are several variations like "Bannie", "Bananie", "Bannie gal" etc...

I call him my snuggle bear, and he calls me his delicate flower in addition to all the normal stuff.
"Dear" was the first he called me and I remember thinking it was kind of quaint, but that word is so often used for letters and emails and things it is casualized but when he said it, he meant it.

His "dorky" nickname for me is "Sawwah" and he's my "Cwis" ... also we both use "darlingest" and "sweetness" a lot... those are the main ones.
"Baaaaaaaaaabe" in a sort of groaning tone is reserved for when one or the other of us has said something pretty dumb (punnish).

Babe is the main one. Though she calls me hon at times (but she calles everyone that). Course there is also baby. And my love. LOL She calls me her prince, I love that! I'll never forget the face my brother gave me when he first heard me call her babe and tell her I love her. He was shocked and looked like he thought I was crazy. NO ONE has ever heard me talk like that cause I never have. My friend even laughed and said it was soo weird to hear me tell someone I loved them lol.

I called my ex "jon jon" after the kennedy because i just thought it was cute...he called me "pooh" so i'd call him "tigger" because he would get really hyper sometimes. I would also call him Mr. Sexy at times

Wow me and Josh dont really call eachother names like that. I call him hon or honey or sweetie, but I do that with EVERYONE.
And when we do, its usually making fun of the name.
Maybe we are in a bad relationship because we dont have pet names for eachother.

I don't use pet names in my relationship either, really, and I think that is ok.
My bf does call me cutie sometimes, or sweetie. But that is usually just over msn. In person he rarely uses names like that.
To me, it doesn't really mean much... probably because growing up, my parents never really used terms like that, but still have a wonderful marriage. To me, names like that seem kinda "fake" as if you are trying too hard in the relationship. I think it's cuz I don't use words like that, ever, so it would seem fake to use them in a relationship. That is just how I feel about using names like that, but if other people like using them, I don't have a problem with that. So don't get mad at me, or say mean things!

Hmm.... I call him Chad-bear all the time. in my circle of friends we refer to him as "Yuurichiro-baka", and I also tend to refer to him as my husband in training.

My sweetie calls me his "Beloved." I love that name so much- it makes me feel so special!

I'll let her disclose her names for me if she wants, but my general terms of affection for Danie include sweetie, honey, babe, princess, darling...no other really inventive ones that I can remember for the moment.
