  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There is nothing called "wrong age". It is just a timing mark and is subjected to interpretation.

A serious dating work usually take tens of dates. How to interpret those dates would depend on the purpose of study.

Again, geochronologists DO NOT take the dates as the "real" true age. It is not their goal to do that. The so-called "true age" is only a term which refers to the most logical dates.
I'm using the terms of the poster that I'm responding to. I'll wait to see what he says since it was him who made the original assertion.

Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see (as in understand) the kingdom of God unless he is born again." John 3:3
When you begin to understand that God's primary concern is not the temporary tent (body) that we live in here on Earth, but the Spirit, made in the image of God, that lives within that tent.

This sounds like an incomplete thought. When we begin to understand that God's primary concern is the Spirit...then what?

I'm also wondering how this applies to the topic of the thread.

When you understand that God is concerned about the spirit of man all the other things loose importance. The bodies we wear are temporary, this planet earth is temporary, our spirits are eternal.

Our spirits are not 'us', rather, the breath of life given by God (Job 27:3, Gen 2:7, ecclesiates 3:18-21).

But I would be happy to debate that with you in another thread.
