Name for New Cat

We just got a new cat named Edward. He full grown, pure black, large wiht long hair. He does not answer to Ed, he won't even answer to Kitty, Kitty.

Since he is pure black and blends in with dark shadows we've decide to call him Eclipse after the eclipse tonight.

What do you think about Eclipse?

I think Snowball is a fitting name for most black cats, and Midnight for white ones - it fits their behaviour.

It's such a unique name...you wont find many pets named Eclipse...but that is why I think it's so neat.

hiya! yer eclipse is cool! ive got 2 new kittens, i called them stormy (cus shes a tomboy and acts like a rebel and leads) and misty (she a lil bit quieter) hehe
