How do you shape your nails?

I do oval. I never file the sides too much for they break

kinda oval, little pointy, very long. Husband calls me sabre-tooth, because of my "claws"

short and sqaure, i play the sax so need to keep them short

I like mine short to medium length and oval. I was getting manicures every two weeks but lately with the economy I just can't afford to that anymore so I am going to try to do my own nails for once haha it should be interesting to see how it turns out.

what type of nails do you have?: brittle, strong, see-through, weak...i can suggest some great nail strengthening polishes and oils. Just hit me up if you have questions. I have grown my own for about 4yrs now and have experienced great products on the market for my weird nails.

i just put fake one's on and for this week they are long and sea green blue!

What is a good top coat? My favorite top coat came as part of a set, and I am not finding it anywhere, so I need a new topcoat.

Natural oval shape. Not very long [apparently having long nails works only if you don't have to do any kind of manual work!] Sometimes nailpolish [I like black, blue, purple or wine red.]
