well.. what do you think of this comedy? i think the crew is absolutely useless, the captain as well.

but the theme of the anime is very original and unique.. and the way it is brought out only adds more humour! to have the main character getting obsessed with an anime.. *shake head*

uh, and the ending.. that's surprising. They don't do what 'normal' characters in animes should be doing!

I loved Nadesico...all the way to the end. I hated the ending, or relative lack thereof. The movie didn't help much in that regard either, but I try not to dwell on the end.

I loved the story and the characters. Gai was my favorite character till episode 2 (stupid, stupid haircut admiral guy! ). Overall, I think I would have to say that my favorite guy in the show was Uribitake (the engineer), he was flat out hilarious.

lol, yes. That's both funny and ridiculous though..
but very effective in bringing the theme across. i really like the way they do it, simple, yet surprising.
