Na'Damor Series Project

Hey. I want to base a series of RPG's off my old/new Na'Damor story idea/thread I had on here a while ago. This thread will serve as a main, so that when we get new threads I can post the link in here, along with their OOC's.
Here is teh wiki... but if you're lazy don't follow the link. Just know I will only update on tehre from now on.. unless the site is being picky. I may remove certain things from here that are already on teh wiki, as well.

Na'Damor is the realm, or the reality we play in.
There are a few other worlds, though I'll stick with only one as a definite alternate reality.
The Realm of Shadows. It's Na'Damor but it's like a negative of it. Black is white, white is black. Some baddies of Na'Damor call it home. Some of these baddies are what is threatening Na'Damor...
SOME of these baddies are going to try and take over the world of Na'Damor in teh first thread.... and one of these baddies will be played by me, and a very annoying person to try to kill, at that.

If you have questions it may jog my memories, and I may add to the Wiki.

Now let's discuss the first RPG in the making, please. I'm thinking of this:
An evil unknown force is slowly taking the land over, but it first appears on the outskirts of Janeron, where our story will begin. At first it was just random killings in the mountains, and rumors of monsters. Then contact was lost with the settlements. Now there are rumors of a dark army of creatures and humans, being assembled in the Koran'gar mountain region. The story will take place after these events, so the evil plot is already in motion.
We will start in the Royal Splendor, an Inn in the town of Sharon. This is the city closest to the Koran'gar Range...hrm, what might happen? I wonder... eheh.

I have created teh wiki above, so I deleted some stuff that was on here and put it on there. So anyone want to try to do this "project" with me? Don't worry about any details concerning my post here, and don't expect to have to know anything about it. This is to have fun, while shaping my ideas for my novel at the same time. Plus I like re-enacting good ideas, to see what other people might contribute.

That's fine with me... you can be both. No one says you CAN'T use teh spoken word... and you are approaching very dangerous ground, missy. You're close to my character idea, lol, but he's more than just a Bard so that's ok. He's not a Magus, because his class will not yet be established until later... much much later... and that class will then be open in the next RPG, if we get that far.
But my bard is going to be playing at the inn, so I suppose you could be trading off with him, or maybe get into a musical type duel, or duet, or something, lol.
Just know that... Orion Sorvenus is a depressing man when it comes to his music. LOL.
I'll make the character bio soon, and I suggest you do as well.

Remember, if you want to come up with your own class, tell me, and I'll look at it. If I like what I see I'll add it to the Wiki.

I'm thinking of adding a character cast database later, too, if the RPG kicks off on a good note. I'd like at LEAST one or two more people, unless people are willing to play doubles if we can't get the other people.
I would also ask you not abandon the thread, lol. I can always find a way out if we get stuck on something... and we can always discuss our next move in the OOC of the RPG once the RPG is created... yes each one will have their own OOC. Which I will then update on the Wiki.

quick question, am I correct in assuming that humans are the only useable race?

Hrm...as of right now. But we can change that here, right?
I'll allow Elves, though they will play a significantly lesser role later, maybe. AH! I remember an idea I had for a sequel I had been writing. Yes, I'll allow Elves as a playable race. If anyone has any suggestions, that's fine by me. If I really like your suggestion, I may have to include it. But I don't want too many races, as that will detract from the uniqueness of personality factor from being forced to work inside a certain box. People tend to care more about customization of personality and traits when tehre's less to work with on races.
I'm thinking no more than 4 or 5 for teh whole series. I have two in mind that as of right now do not apply. Also, for some RPG's some races may be unplayable unless you really want to be that one, in which case I can create a work-around for it. Usually.
NOTE: Suggested races are subject to changes by me, like, where their place of residence is, their lore, etc. Of course, I will work with others on race ideas if they so wish it. But let's not get too complicated. For right now there are two races possible. This isn't LOTR after all.

So are we doing this in present tense then?

Well, I merely refer to "past" and "present" in reference to my original story's place in the timeline. We're "technically" in the past... but it's like viewing history as it happens. Everything is present tense. Just play like a normal RP. If we get a series going of RP's, all will be revealed.
