The Mystery was REVEALED alright! To Paul, for US. And the mystery truths that are the words of the RISEN Christ TO US, are found ONLY in his epistles!

Amen! And there are at least 14 aspects that make up the mystery given to paul by direct revelation from the Lord from heaven.

The equality of jew and gentile is one of those aspects.

During the Lord's earthly ministry to Israel (Romans 15:8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers the Jew has first place in God's heart. The gentiles were considered 'dogs'.
Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Acts 3:26 Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

The revelation of the mystery to Paul shows a change takes place. BUT NOW Jews and gentiles are EQUAL.
That's one part of the mystery given to Paul.

Romans 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 11:32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.

Another aspect of the mystery message revealed to Paul by direct revelation from the Lord Jesus from heaven is the heavenly position of the Christian. This should THRILL any saved person !

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:Ephesians 2:7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

This is positional truth for the believer. Every member of the church which is his body is right now at the right hand of God...positionally. We are citizens of heaven and nothing can change that!

Christ as head of the body is found only in the mystery message given to Paul by the risen, ascended, glorified Lord.

Ephesians 1:22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,Ephesians 1:23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Christ as our HEAD...head of the church the body of Christ...tells us HIS BODY how to function and how to live in this dispensation of the gospel of the grace of God. How to live godly lives in this dispensation is taught to us in the revelation of the mystery. Paul as the apostle to the gentiles who was given the mystery teaches us to walk worthy!

The Lord Jesus is also shown to be Mediator and Intercessor.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;1 Timothy 2:6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
1 Timothy 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not; )a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity.

Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
