Good question...lol...a Webkinz (I spelled it wrong earlier) is a stuffed animal made by Ganz that you can purchase from Hallmark stores and other specialty stores...you can pick out of dogs, cats, frogs, bears, and other animals, bring them home, name them and then go on the website and adopt them. Once they are named and adopted, kids can go online and play games to earn money to buy them things for their little houses...if you have two your pets can play together...and if your childs friend has one, you can meet online and the pets can play together...my daughter is learning how to take care of her pets as well as how to manage her pets money and such...she really has fun taking care of them...you can look up webkinz and visit their site to see more of what they're about...

That sounds really cool... I think I'll check it out as a Christmas idea... thanks.

I have a couple of questions...first...how do you get a guestbook on your page? (is it because noone has posted anything on my page?? or is it because only CF friends can post? And where do you get the pictures to post in someone else's guestbook, like in MySpace there are tons of sites to go to but they are formatted for MySpace?? or can you use the same ones? Help!!!

Ok... Your guestbook will automatically show up on your homepage when someone sends you one... and you will know because you'll get a PM telling you that you have a new guestbook entry. Anyone can sign your guestbook... they do not have to be on your buddy list.

The pictures are different here... but the same You don't have to use the html code... so just right click on the pic you want and go to "properties"... the highlight the url address that ends in .jpg or .gif, then control c to copy... and when you post in a thread or a guestbook... put your curser in the posting box, then click on the thumbnail pic of mountains above the posting box... this brings up a line where you can paste what you copied... which is control v.

Let me know how it all works out for you... in the meantime I will sign your guestbook!!

my kids have a district band contest tomorrow morning. The bands goal this year is to get 52 points which will allow them to go onto the state contest. It has been 5 yrs since the band went that far so this is a really pins and needles time for them Just praying the rain holds off til afternoon...
