Myself When I Am Me - Please read!

I wrote this about March 10th-ish, I think. It's my second newest poem, written like a prayer. Perfectly described how I was feeling at the time. I hope at least one person can relate to it. <3

Show me, show me
I swear I want to see,
'cause this is who I am
when I am truly being me.

Show me, show me,
though sometimes I can not see.
I have blinded myself
to who I ought to be.

Show me, show me,
I swear that I love You!
I swear that I want to know You,
to be with you and follow You.

I am Yours, though I do not know
if You are mine even when I do not follow.

When I follow, can you see me?
See how I love You when I am me.
See how I need You when I am not,
though You can not look upon me when I have turned away.

Forgive me when I turn aside,
when I run astray.
You know better than myself
how I am prone to look away.

But Your grace is endless,
or so I have heard.
Your mercy is everbounding,
or so I have learned.

So is it not ok
if I continue to stray..?
I should feel no shame,
we are all in need of grace...
