• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Where do you fellowship mostly now? If you care to share. Jan
In CF life or non-CF life?
In CF I am mostly in WD and sometimes in the Baptist forum. In real life since we left our church (friendly departure, still in contact with the pastor and the elders) we fellowship during the Bible study at our house. I also attend midweek Bible study at another house. And we are in touch with brother and sisters from the previous church. I have to tell you that God's family is big, really big!

Hello everyone. Sheila got to me by email and guess when a woman talks, man should listen....lol

Guess I have been quite busy at outside things for a ..couple of years, it seems. My sincere apologies. I have had a few health issues with vision and my hands just dont want to go in the same direction as my mind.

Cheers, bless and I will try to get better,

Jim

Welcome Jim

It is so good to see you posting here again. Just as long as you are ok? I hope the vision problem is on the way to being sorted out?

I know you like to keep busy but this forum isn't the same without you.

Just post as and when you can but please don't be a stranger.

Blessings

Sheila

Hi again! I am having difficulty doing anything in the forums. Seems to take forever to enter a post or even to get the threads to come up. Something needs a toe somewhere......

The toe is the lowest extremity of us all and yet is guilty of causing the most problems for all of us. Except the keyboard, of course. I have never tried toeing a message. Then, I doubt if I could get my knee high enough, let alone my toe.........Wait, I could put the keyboard on the floor.........Nah! That wouldn't work..haven't got strong enough glasses.

We must keep looking up to benefit most in life, both spiritual and physical. It is the toes, however, that keep our feet on the ground and make us realize that we are just another product of the Claymaker. Our only importance in life is what we have to offer to our fellow travellers. So, I wish you all the best in life and in the Lord.

Cheers, and God bless,

Jim
