My testimony isn't as inspiring as others, but I figured I'd post it here anyway. I was raised Christian, and I've been a Christian until my late 20's. I decided that God was not the God for me, and I turned to Paganism. I never really practiced, but once in a while I'd read up on magick out of curiosity, and read about some of the other Gods.
Although I felt I did get a few signs from a couple Goddesses, I never felt a connection. And things in my life were getting worse. I ended up owing the phone company $550, my group home $1000, and every night I would hear strange banging and knocking noises when I was only partially asleep.
One day I decided to just drop everything and surrender myself back to the Lord. Almost instantly, I stopped hearing the weird noises, I've been sleeping better too. And I'm sure that somehow I will bounce back from this debt. Although I still don't feel a strong connection, my family is Christian, and they're happy that I went back to Christianity. So, I think Christianity has strengthened the bond I have with my family.
