Normally when people give testimony they go years back but I only have to go is back as February, because to me every day the Lord wakes me up is a testimony.
On with my testimony, In February the Lord laid upon my heart to Evangelize my community with giving out bibles now this was surely I knew had to be God because I already am a teacher of the word. And so little did I know what all I was to do. But God has instructed me to the places I am to go for example, Women Abused Shelter, Rehab. Centers, Soup Kitchens, Soup Kitchens, just to name a few.
I was totally blown away because I did not know where to even start but how many of you know when God tells you something He will direct your steps.
And so on a Friday February 2, 2012 I became a Non-Profit Ministry where I am able to help my community in a way I never even dreamed of. The Lord not only saw to it that I get bibles through donations but HE has also told me to take bible study into my local park which is down town in my city right across from City Hall.
And so last week was the first time I had bible study outdoors, my loving husband went with me for support and as he was handing out the Ministry Cards and inviting people when he came back he told me that most of them said they was not interested at all. One lady was interested but she was busy with her children.
By the time I started bible study and open it with prayer I wasn't no more then 15 minutes into the bible study when the very people who told my husband that they was not interested all of a sudden they came very close to listen they did not sit where I was but they stood there listening.
That was a leap of faith for me because I teach bible study on radio, church but never have I ever taught it outside...that is my testimony.
And if I can give a word to everyone else, no matter what God has called you to do, you may say I don't have the resources or you may think you can't do it. I want you to know Jesus will give you everything you need He will direct and instruct you. All you need to do it be obedient to HIM,,AMEN
