This is My Testimony
Before i was a christian I grew up in a christian Home and went to church with my parents every Sunday. And went to a christian school called St.Johns Lutheran School. But while i went to Church and school i never really got who God was and i just went to Church because my parents went so i went to. At 6th grade i moved from a christian school to a public school. I didn't really fit in alot and it was hard to find good friends. In 7th grade my parents wanted to take a break for a while to deside weather or not they wanted to Divorce or not. The night my parents told me about this i felt so horrible and i dind't understand why God would do this to me, i thought my parents were perfect. They never got in fights or argued and suddenly my life was changeing fast and my dad moved out. The day after my parents told me they were maybe getting divorced i was soo confuesed and didn't know what i wanted to do with my life. Until one day at school I met someone who is my friend today and her name is Lacey (on Cf her name is Skier_lacey12
. I didn't really know her that well but i felt like i needed to talk to someone about it, so i talked to her and after that we became friends. Later on she told me more about God and got me more and more into it. At first i was going to youth group just because i thought it was cool and i could hang out and talk with friends. But the more she talked to me about GOd, i listened more and more at youth group and i realized that i have my own faith that i needed to do somthing with. So one night when i was in bed i thought about if i was really was a Good Christian or not, Then i remembered the prayer we do at Youth group some nights and i prayed that prayer and i asked him to help me to Share my faith more, thats when i became a Christian. Then Later on my parents got back together and felt like God was really working in me and i finally began to realize why God seperated my parents for a while. I realized that if my parents would have never split up, i would have never met lacey and she would have never gotten the chance to get me closer to God and i probably wouldn't of prayed that prayer.
Today life as a christian is really good. I am more involved in Youth group, I read my bible every night and i feel like i am the closest i've ever been to God than i have ever been before.
One verse that i like the most and goes with my Testimony is: Jeremiah 29:11-12 -For I know the plans I have for you, Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and i will listen to you.
So from this verse remember that God always has a plan for you, even if Bad things happen and you don't understand why they are happening.
