I'm talking about plate tectonics.

The kind that makes it look like India "torpedoed" into the Asian continent from a distance.

The way science portrays it, yes.

I believe, as does science, that India is pushing into the Asian continent.

But unlike science, I believe India's starting point was much closer to Asia than science says it was.

Science has India moving for millions of years toward Asia before impact.

This, to me, couldn't have happened, since India came about by the breakup of Pangaea shortly after
the Flood in 2348 BC.

So you don't have any actual evidence to support this, you are just trying to fit it into your preconceived notions.

Science does the best they can with what they have to work with. The main problem tough is they want to sell books and put money in their pocket. When they do not even know enough to write a magazine article. It takes 3 years to research a book and they like to cut corners to make more money. Look at Bishop Ussher. He devoted his whole life to one book and people today, 500 years later are still referencing his book.

The main problem tough is they want to sell books and put money in their pocket.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Science has erred from the faith, no argument there.

And science has pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Which sorrows include Thalidomide, Apollo 1 capsule, the Challenger, Chernobyl, L'Aquila, the Florida footbridge, the Twin Towers, and others.

Of course if Science (man) had all the answers and solutions there would be no need for God in our life. If we want more than what Science has to offer God can provide that for us. I looked everywhere for answers and solutions and found what I was looking for in the Bible. So Science becomes an instrument for you to draw closer to God.

What with we being sinners -- and Hell and all.

I was 26 years old and knew nothing about any of that. Although I did have a dream once where I was falling in a bottomless pit.

Never said a word about it. My dad could hypnotise a whole audience and he said that is what church is, just hypnotism and the power of suggestion. He did not like hell fire and brimstone at all. He took us to see a patient that had polio and the family was very happy people even with a lot of adversity. He said this is what religion is suppose to be like but so many people believe different and he thought there was no way to know who was right if anyone. So his attitude was to leave us alone to figure it out on our own. I really regret not going to church as a kid. There was a church that was about the same distance as the school. In fact I had a boy scout meeting there. I even talked to the pastor once. I wish he had invited me to a service because I might have gone. Life would have been a LOT better as a child if I had learned how to pray. I had a friend once that was religious. But his parents told him to stay away from me because I was not a religious person. I wonder why they did not tell me about it. I would have liked someone to teach me something.

When I was 26 AFTER my divorce someone told me that God could help me understand the Bible. This turned out to be true. So no one ever taught me anything. I eventually learned how to read and study the Bible for myself. I then became active in church for a while but that was more for the fellowship than the actual teaching. The Bible is clear that we are to be taught by God and not man. Perhaps the biggest difference was the person that told me how to understand the Bible. That took up maybe two minutes of his time.

What about your parents?

My mom knew nothing. My dad did not know who to believe because so many people belived so many different things. So he left it up to us to figure out for ourselves. He took us to see a patient of his with polo as an example to us of how people can have a good attitude when dealing with adverse conditions. He was glad to be happy but he did not like hell fire and brimstone.

Luke 7 32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: “’We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry.’

He is happy to dance and rejoice. AS a doctor he does not want to cry and be sad. He served our community for 50 years and he is well remembered at the historical society in our city.

Think of a tree growing up in the midst of the earth and all the nations being able to see it at the same time.

Like the tree of life? In your vision, the tree could represent a source of universal knowledge or a beacon of hope and peace that everyone can see and be inspired by.
