Why is a literal interpretation of Genesis necessary, again?
TE works, because its practitioners do not have to think too much.
When asked about Genesis and/or creation they can answer its not really true.
When asked about evolution and humans shared origins with other apes they can answer its not really true.
Liberalism at its best
Except that TEs will say evolution is true -- the answer is still "goddidit," but at least now it's "Goddidit... not how it was described in the Bible, but according to science."
At least with TEs, religious faith is supplimenting the facts, not superceding them.
In short: It’s all true magical mysticism.

Even shorter: wrong
Seeing that I am not and neither is any other Christian required to believe the Bible to be literal, your challenge is baseless and your continued attempts to disprove evolution say more about your poor education in science then it does about the validity of evolution.

There are TEs who say that (including TEs who have no regard for Christian and Jewish scriptures, of course), but most don't. You are aware that "not literally true" and "not really true" are different statements, aren't you? When asked about Genesis and/or creation they can answer its not really true.
What on earth are you talking about? Could you please point to anyplace where I have ever said "It's not really true" about common descent? Don't forget to include my published papers on human evolution, by the way. When asked about evolution and humans shared origins with other apes they can answer its not really true.
I don't need challenges to "say more about my poor education in science." I've already admitted that I don't know diddly about science. That's old hat here, my friend --- catch up.

Right -- we're all just a bunch of dummies. We're not real smart like you.

Then you need to do yourself a favor. Sit down, shut up, and actually listen to people who know more than you do.
Until you do, you will remain what you are now, a joke. A caricature of the man who wallows in ignorance and stupidity.
LOL --- okay, newbie, thanks for the psychobabble.
FYI --- I'll vouch for ignorance --- stupidity will be up to you to demonstrate.
