Interesting point. I took @Phred 's remark to be a kind of reductio ad absurdum put down of this Challenge thread the principle of which, in my opinion, casts an unjustifiably negative light on Christianity. Thus any mocking of Christianity is inadvertently coming from the OP and Phred is merely pointing this out. My own posts here have certainly had that intention, to highlight what a silly thread it is. Of course I may just be reading between lines that exist only in my imagination.
Exactly. Much better stated than I did.

Which is superior: Creation or Evolution?
Where an individual puts their faith will determine how they interpret the evidence: God's Holy Word or man's imperfect word.

But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Many Christians also accept evolutionary biology among other things related to science. Science and religious belief are not mutually exclusive concepts.

"Many Christians" who reject God's Holy Word...

It was Jesus who said: And then I will declare to them, "I never knew you; leave Me, you who practice lawlessness."

Just FYI but declaring or insinuating other Christians are not actual Christians is against the forum rules:

On a related note, I literally just posted an hour ago at how amazed I am at how some Christians are so ready to eat their own. And here we are with another prime example.

You shouldn't do that then. Please try to stay on topic...

Except I didn't do that. My original post was, "Many Christians also accept evolutionary biology among other things related to science. Science and religious belief are not mutually exclusive concepts."

You then implied said Christians were rejecting God's Holy Word, which could be viewed to be a violation of the forum rules.

Except I didn't do that. I was cautioning you about what you were implying in your own post.
Simply quoting you...and the implications of your claim.

You're veering way off topic, kindly reel it in.

My original post was simply: "Many Christians also accept evolutionary biology among other things related to science. Science and religious belief are not mutually exclusive concepts."

That's it. I never suggested that Christians that accept science are not Christians.

True that... You said "Many!"

True Christians, believers in Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior, believe in God's Holy Word, and have faith in the Genesis account of God's creating the universe and everything (all things) in it.

Based on general polling of religious beliefs, I could have even said most. Creationist views are largely a minority among Christians in the world today, even in the U.S. And even there they are showing signs of being in decline.

True Christians, believers in Jesus Christ as LORD and Savior, believe in God's Holy Word, and have faith in the Genesis account of God's creating the universe and everything (all things) in it.

The question of whether God made everything isn't the point of dispute among Christians. Rather it's a question of interpretation of the Biblical texts thereof. Most Christians don't interpret Genesis in a strictly literal fashion.

In fact, non-literal interpretations of Genesis go back thousands of years.

Now THERE is a winning post! :)

Which is superior: Creation or Evolution?

To take this back to the OP and maybe spark a more interesting discussion, why the dichotomy in the first place? Why does it have to be Creation OR Evolution?

Even the title of the forum is Creation (AND) Evolution.

I'm curious as to why some see the need to drive a wedge between them.

As I said earlier:

As I said earlier:

Okay. So?

Also, obligatory Douglas Adams quote: “In the beginning the Universe was created. This had made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move." :p
