Now that I have a chance to visit here and things have changed a bit, I thought I'd give you an update. Last Monday, my aunt and her friend (both nursing students) came to my house to talk to my dad. They got there around 3:00, and they finally left with him at 11:45. After almost nine hours of convincing him, they got him to go to detox. My mom, sister, and I couldn't go home until they got out of there. He's been there for almost a week, and he hasn't escaped yet!
