I wanted to share this story just to display the awesome power of prayer in my life and what amazing things God has done.

Ok, to start off with, I was born with a genetic bone disease called Osteogenises Imperfecta. This makes your bones really weak and easy to break. Now, I kept going throughout my days as a baby and toddler, but i would frequently break a bone. My condition kept getting worse, as the more bones I would break, the weaker I would get since I would have to keep off my feet untill it would be healed. It went to the point of me just being able to drop from my wheelchair onto the couch and vice versa. Things weren't looking to good.

One day, my dad had just come back from a business trip from Egypt. He seemed dumbfounded as he came in the house. On his way home from Egypt, the plane had to be grounded due to bad weather. Now, already, there were not too many people on the plane. When he got his connecting flight, there were very few people on his flight, but seated next to him was a guy that looked as if he was a doctor or another professional. Midway into the flight, my dad started talking with him, and found out that he was, in fact, a doctor. More chatter, and it turned out that he is actually working on a drug for a "bone disease" he said. My dad said, Oh my son actually has Osteogenises Imperfecta. This guy was actually working on the drug to make bones stronger JUST FOR O.I PATIENTS. So, of course, my dad got more information.

3 months later I was up in Montreal getting the drug. in a matter of 2 weeks, i could do double the amount of things as I could normally do. 4 or 5 years taking the drug, I'm still in a wheelchair, but I'll be walking really soon. I'm already up on crutches a lot, and I've got all summer to build up.

how great, how awesome is He, eh?
